Naturopathy Kyneton

These days Naturopaths go to university for 4-5 years and have a bachelors degree in health science that really hones in on lifestyle medicine. This usually includes education in nutrition, herbal medicine, functional medicine, lifestyle and preventative medicine. Naturopaths use a blended approach to treatment, drawing on accident traditional medicine and philosophies alongside conventional science and evidence-based practices to treat acute and chronic health conditions.

At Good Self we have a ‘functional’ approach in the way that we assess and treat patients – this means that we really like to get to know the ‘whole’ you and focus on unravelling all aspects of wellbeing so that we can get to the bottom of what’s troubling you. We create a systematic plans that addresses the key areas of your health that could be contributing to the symptoms that you are experiencing.

We’re here to help if you’re looking for a natural approach to looking after your health and are interested in finding the cause of your symptoms for longer lasting results.

Collaborative Care is a new concept created for for individuals who are ready to take a deeper look into their whole health picture because they have a few things going on and it’s been bothering them for some time.

For example, we often see individuals who present with lower back pain who may also have digestive issues. Or period pain and  lot of anxiety and jaw pain.  Or a sports injury and hormonal imbalance. We can address all of these niggles as part of one treatment plan – this is a holistic as it gets!

Navigating multiple health issues at once can be expensive and confusing. We want to make this simple and so will put our practitioner heads together to create your own Collaborative Care plan that helps you to understand:

What’s going wrong with your body

How we can help you to fix it

How long treatment will take

How much it’ll cost

Collaborative Care plans are $99 and give you a session with BOTH our Osteopath and Clinical Naturopath to get you started in your recovery. After these sessions you’ll be armed with all the information you need  to understand exactly what the next steps are to your recovery.
