Clinical Myotherapy
Hands-on tension relieving techniques for those tired muscles
What is Myotherapy?
Myotherapist are highly educated and skilled manual therapists who treat a range of musculoskeletal conditions, with a modern, science based approach. The way that a Myotherapist approaches the body and recovery could be described as a blend between Physiotherapy and Massage.
Our Myotherapists have University degrees in this modality, which means that their approach when they’re assessing your will come from a functional and evidence-based method.
During your treatment, you might experience a variety of techniques, depending on your personal needs. These include dry needling (they’re big on that), remedial massage, cupping, mobilisation and myofacial release.
Plus, a Myotherapist will always have their ‘exercise-prescription’ hat on because they are passionate about using movement as a therapy in itself.
How can a Myotherapist help?
A Myotherapist can help with both acute (short term) and chronic (longer term) musculoskeletal aches and pains.
Some of the symptoms that a Myotherapist can address are:
- Lower back pain
- Neck and shoulder pain
- Chronic headaches
- Sports injuries
- Recovery from exercise or sport
